The North Wisconsin – Upper Michigan District is one of the many districts across the United States and Canada that is a part of the International Lutheran Laymen’s League. This group includes men, women, and young adults that participate in Bible studies, evangelism and outreach efforts, local service projects, and other events.

Our Mission:

"Bringing Christ to the Nations and

the Nations to the Church"

Christ to the Nations — Lutheran Hour Ministries develops culturally relevant programs and projects that proclaim the Gospel to the unchurched, encouraging those people who are reached through these ministry efforts to respond by contacting staff or volunteers.

Nations to the Church — Lutheran Hour Ministries then cultivates relationships with those who respond to ultimately facilitate a relationship between them and a congregation, thus helping grow the kingdom of God.

WHAT’S MISSION U?

Over the past several months you have heard the term “Mission U” and may even have attended a LHM Mission U event or two. Those that have attended have an understanding of the scripture-based program and the quality of the presenters.

Mission U events feature outreach training workshops tailored to the specific needs of your church. Does your church need help in witnessing to others? Do you need ways to use media and other ways to reach outside your church? Further Mission U course syllabuses and descriptions can be found on Lutheran Hours Ministries Mission U webpage.

If your congregation or Circuit is interested in how the North Wisconsin District of Lutheran Hour Ministries (NWD-LLL) can partner with you to host a Mission U course, contact: Ed Bieno, NWD-LLL Outreach Chair at ejb1401@gmail.com or by phone at 608-206-0339. We are waiting to hear from you.
